This is my first challenge entry on CGTalk - thought I’d give it a go.

Will hopefully have some WIP to post soon.

Very nicely done. You got a good idea by doing a boat firing, because you can set off a row of cannons. Which is a lot more impressive! :slight_smile:

Thanks for the comments guys.

Decided to go with the ship because as you said mustan9, it could look a bit more impressive. Only problem is it also requires x amount more sim time :slight_smile:

just do one or two sims and duplicate it and offset the timing by a frame or two then rotate it a little bit and you’ll never be able to tell :slight_smile:

Here is a WIP show of the ‘destruction’ part - still needs some tweaking.

Dust done in Fume, debris a combination of reactor and particles.
