Thanks! Here is an update of the flying car…
FX WARS-Flying Car-VFX-Shot-Adrian Baluta
very cool. I really like your style.
I don’t like the car moving backwards first before taking off. Seems unrealistic because there is nothing pushing the car in that direction.
I agree with mustan9.
Would be cool if the little flap things inside the turbine would open up and close.
Like before a Fight Jet starts, the Turbine insideflap thingis open up…
Know what i mean?

Thanks guys for your comments!Yes I exagerate a bit the car when he goes.If I have time I will do some changes and one or two scene with raining atmosphere at night.
Best!:buttrock:
Great looking project, love the inside view: tho i think the front part of the car (hood) should appear on camera (that could add a little more realism to your pilot/driver view.
GREAT MODEL btw!
Yes thanks.I fogot that layer with the front of the car view .When I have time I will rerender that part, maybe next week.![]()
Looks good. Be sure to use Fresnel on the reflections of your car and water. That may make the image slightly more photoreal.
Thanks, yes have the lights in the front and the back also look at the old wip, first pages, because is the same model.I only have two or three atmosphere and moods.
Update…

Hey great work
Although I have a few crits.
1st: I cant see the transformation of the wheels… too dark from the black smoke.
2nd. you should look for some reference of helicopters/harrier jump jets taking off. The way the flying car moves back before it moves forward is a bit unrealistic
Overall you are very close to a great sequence. I think you just need to tweak your compositing a bit to bring out the car more… eg blur the background out a little bit for DOF etc.
You still have a few days so you should play around
all the best,
- Jon
