I’m speachless! I really dig the details man ![]()
Can you please tell us what texturing method you used for this?
Great sense of space. I’m loving the slight distance perspective/heat wave stuff going on in the background.
Congrats!
thanks for the comments guys ![]()
the textures are done in a few stages, first I rendered everything with only two generic concrete textures, this gives a nice specular/bump pass, then I re-rendered with a few selected objects & faces, give them a quick & dirty planar map & apply a basic building facade or billboard texture…this is mainly so all the perspectives are true.
then added a few more details/billboards in photoshop using the distort tool to push them into shape
the vehicles & distant buildings were rendered as seperate passes
Cheers
Stefan

fantastic work mate, and thanks for the texturing overview, sounds like a cool way of doing it. It really conveys a sense of being huge. and the lighting and color scheme is great, nothing too in your face and seems natural.
5*
So inspiring…
Amazing workflow, mass handling of detail, and final composition.
SO GREAT !!
Really nice. I love the water element interacting with the structures in the foreground. Sweet!

Looks amazing! I love most of all how you incorporated the overwhelming fact that flooding seems to be an inevitable part of our future.
