fusion gridwarp... tanget bug ?

#1

I’ve got a plate requiring the removal of a large harness and its pulling effect on the clothing its going through (vfx sup should be fired for this one). I’m using a roto to drive a 3x4 grid warp on either side of the harness to fold the cloth back over the rig. Each point on the grid is linked to a track / path of some kind.

This tactic relies on the source and destination grids being identical except where the cloth is folded that way it blends back to the original plate once away from the harness.

The problem I’m having is that the tangents on the gridwarp aren’t staying linear… ie… open file > select points > press “shift-L” on both src and des… looks fine in gui > save file > reopen… and the tangents are all over the place again. I have auto-smooth turned off for all curves in the prefs.

Any ideas?

Thanks
