jimmy neutron the movie was modeled and render on Lw and all the animation was done with Messiah

after, all the series where done using maya and rendered with LW, today i think they only use maya,

I’m pretty sure Jimmy Neutron production switched to maya after the movie ?

the first 2 series were LW/Messiah/LW they used that for the movie, then moved to Maya ?

Why? This is just the usual pointless discussion about how Messiah isn’t good enough. When its obvious it is used often enough and is plenty good enough. Its funny that so many argue how maya or XSI are standalone, blah blah. No production house is completely dependent on a single application and often use more than one in a production. So no application is ever “standalone”.

I’ve personally refrained from this thread because once again it’s been polluted with your comments. I think your attack on Nichod is unwarranted and unnecessary. Nichod is doing a lot for this community and I for one commend his efforts. The author of this thread ‘animotion’ has made his choice; let’s welcome him to the community and move on.

I have an affect on that how? Quit being so pessimistic. Join the film project, show off your skills, and get some attention on Messiah. How do you expect Messiah to improve if they make no sales? And how will they make sales if you keep talking about how much Messiah doesn’t have?

Acrylic paint may dry faster and is in some ways easier to manipulate. But does that make Oil paint useless? I’m all about working with what you have. A tool is a tool, and you work around its limitations. And often the end result is richer in color and quality.
