critique is naturally welcome

Nice doodle. Do you plan on doing anything else with it? I think the eyes could use a bit more animation since they are pretty static except for when he says, “Whoa, whoa.” The lip synch looks pretty good. Are you using bones or morph targets?

I love the way he shakes his head at ~9 sec…
Main thing keeping me from ‘beleiving’ it right now is the feel that the head is on a stick or something. THere is no motion alluding to the movement of a body beneath it - or at least it doesn’t come across because there is no body beneath it.
Also the eyes (because they’re black - no pupil) lose the option to convey life by those subtle movements.
Would love to see more!

i am using morph targets. i build up 8 targets in silo and imported them into messiah.
i am planning to finish the whole joe pesci dialouge with ray liotta, one of the greatest moments in good fellas.
jeah the head moves in a very unnatural way. but without body its rather hard to come up with a good animation.

according with the pupils youre right, damn i didnt noticed that.

thanks for the kind replys
