FumeFX pixelated render


I have this wierd problem witch fumefx, everything i render looks pixelated, as if there was an antialiasing problem or something.

So i checked if the problem came frome fume or max by simply adding an other object, which actually renders perfectly. So the problem seems to come from fume.

And, wierdly, it seems to be present in the fire, but not particularly Inside the smoke.

I’m kinda lost here.

I’m running 3ds max 2013 and dume 3.5.1

It is not pixelated it is voxelated :slight_smile:

Adjust your fire AFC curve you are showing too much fire per voxel. Lower the left side to bring down the fluids edges, lowering the right will effect the core.
