We spent over two months creating artwork for this competition and I’m fairly certain that we haven’t waited that long yet, so there’s nothing to get up in arms about yet. 
I know we’re all anxious and excited to find out who won - I am too! - but CGSociety will announce the winners when they know who they are. It takes time to judge these contests: All of the judges are industry professionals who are helping out to judge on the side of often-busy jobs and it takes several rounds of elimination and judging and coming up with winners for all of the sub-categories. (and watching videos takes even MORE time.) And judges are all requested to make comments on lots of entries too! And while some judges have the time to jump right on that, others need to squeeze it into busy schedules. Once the judges’ work is done, CGSociety needs to work up big impressively-designed pages showing off the winners. and confirm that prizes are still forthcoming from the vendors who promised them (and I know that that part goes well past when the winners are announced!)
But anyhow, my point is, there’s a lot of work involved here that you’re not seeing. It’s not so easy to say “we’ll announce by such-and-such a date.” They’re doing a lot here just by having these contests, and they’re still quite busy with the most recent Challenge even if we’re not seeing it from the outside, so cut them some slack. We will hear the winners are soon enough. (and yes, I’m just as anxious to hear as you - what do you think I’m doing even visiting this part of the forum!
