Free waterfall | 3dsMax file included ...

Hey guys,

In response to a recent post i created a quick waterfall that you can use and tweak as you wish …

http://www.davidedwards.me/web/waterfall2009_davidedwards.rar (with quicktime previews)

Needs tweaking a little, but gives you a base to play around with, holds up quite well for the moment. If anyone can make it better feel free and repost

I created it more for the purpose of rendering off and post comping, if you want to move it around to fit into your own max files then good luck

Holy Shit!!! Nice  I really like it haha! I never played around with Max particle system only maya and in maya it would take me quite a while to get this effect. Maybe its just because I suck at waterfalls… anyways great one man  I should practise this more haha. Maybe you feel like doing a little tutorial ;)?

Thanks Dave,

BTW like the updated website

Thanks, hope it can come in use  For now you can just reposition the camera and hit render.

Yeh i could probably do a little mini tutorial, i’ll look into that in the next few days. Though my understanding of particles is very limited too!

i’m sure someone with a little more experience someone could come up with a much easier method of arriving at the same results.
