Frame lost

#1

Hey
have some problems with my render.
I can´t render 1 frame. 3DS Max crash when i try to rendern this frame.

I have a 250 long animation of a Text Fly by.

frame 112

frame 113 i can´t render

frame 114

Is there a way to fake the missing frame in comp ??

I thought i could make it with some frameblending method
here are my result

But maybe there is a better way to do this kind of thing.

Try rendering in regions.
Post your render engine, lihght and material settings(in the right forum) maybe someone can help you optimizing.

most compositing software (like after effects) should be able to interpolate the frame, not blending, but using vector interpolation, it should just work fine for you.

#4

yeah had the same idee but i can´t find this funktion in my comp tool
i can use Combustion or Fusion

#5

Maybe take 2 frames, and then use miscellaneous - time stretcher in fusion. This is what I got.

Of course, if you need a more quality result, you should search for some optical flow analysis solution, but I think it won’t be cheap. Anyways, this should be enough to prevent from jittering and no human will notice this interpolation.

sanly you can see it
