Frame Blending - Pixel motion problem

Time-remapping is cool, it works and it definitely helps with using pre-rendered assets and such. The one problem I’ve run into is the Frame Blending with Pixel motion turned on. It looks great except where there is little contract between pixel coloration (white and off white, grey and soft grey etc.)

Is there any setting that I can use to overcome this bug? I have attached some screens to show you what I mean. There has got to be a setting or something to overcome this - pixel motion looks so smooth in comparison to frame mix and it would help some of the work I’m doing to look that much better.

I don’t see your problem. why not simply use the Timewarp effect? Same routines, more control (thresholds and such).

Tried the timewarp too - same issue, although not as prevalent. Sigh…

My company is just going to have to break down and buy the 3D app that we have those phone models done in or only use outside vendors that use 3DS Max. I’ve finished the piece already (although I hacked it to bits! lol). Next time is another opportunity to learn more!
