No deluxe cable for me, it’s been ESPN online for the last two games:

ROFL L.Rawlins, Intervain, and Marlon :D

Marlon, if I /actually/ looked like that, I might have a chance :p

Unfortunately:
without 200 K worth of plastic surgery and good luck the size of Idaho, it ain’t gonna happen :stuck_out_tongue: sigh eek
Meh. There’s always chloroform. Works for me…

Disclaimer: That was a joke. :smiley:

2 goals in one minute. Wow.

I was originally betting on Germany to win the world cup, but now I’m all for Italy.

Viva italia!

(this might mean a clippy/becca face-off on sunday. :twisted: )

Its funny rebbecas obsession with christiano ronaldo, but that guy is public enemy number 1 in the UK at the moment, did you see the way he winked when Rooney got red carded?? and apparently he told Rooney he was going to get him sent off before the match started…oh well you make your bed…( ronaldo plays in england with Manchester United as does Rooney…should make for an interesting first training session.)

I want France to win tommorow as does most of England.

ps. well done the azzuri!

#1106

Totally agreed.

Zidane + Henry = :sad: Portugal

during the German/Italy game, I saw an announcement that Ronaldo wasn’t returning to Manchester United. He probably already knew that. I bet Rooney drew first blood somewhere along the way. Maybe he goofed on him or snapped him with a towel in the locker room.

Mind games are typical in the U.S. sports. I would assume that to be true internationally. It’s good to rattle cages and get stars off their game.

Yes Rooney is that Dumb and easily wound up, everyone knows this including his Man U team mate Ronaldo. Ultimately i dont blame Ronaldo, but neither do i blame rooney …anyone who has watched Chelsea knows Carvalho is one dirty player himself and on balance, probably deserved a kick in the balls. :wink: england probably didnt deserve to go through and were a dissapointment throughout the tournament but the level of gamesmanship amongst certain teams is frustrating. I dont know if he is returning to Utd or not, but Ronaldo is an exceptional talent so its a shame if the premiership loses him though if he stays he will get some stick from the fans, thats for sure.

I’ve read that maybe Robben (Chelsea) instead of Ronaldo will go to Real.
That’s what the new Real president wants, don’t know if it will happen though :shrug: .

~~~~~ GoGo Zidane & Henry!! ~~~~~ Allez les Blue! ~~~~~
I can support them, cos I was born a Frenchman :slight_smile:
#1111
Everyone around the world should research and find an ancestor or old family root to support a national team on the last games of this WC :wink:
Nice! (runs to pick some beer and a seat) :slight_smile:
Lost my voice yesterday, been screaming with friends in a pub for 5 mins when we scored twice, you can’t believe what the hell happened yesterday in Rome, never seen such a thing in my whole life, the whole city went mad.
2-0!!
Berlin we’re coming
#1113
We had the most quiet day in Cologne since the championchip started. congrats…some more days in exile for the italian players till trial session starts for them at home. Maybe they´ll stay here get german passports and never come back. I´ve heard toni would love to play beside podolski in the german offense. :smiley:
.
in your dreams :wink:
It’s been pretty hectic in torino as well… so much for our understatement :thumbsup:
and for the italian players actually they are the ones that risk less, the biggest risk for them would be having the team that they’ve played in before the world cup kicked from serie A … but I don’t think that it’ll be hard to find some cozy new homes … it seems that cannavaro and zambrotta are already packing their stuff and are heading to real madrid to follow capello…
#1117
:sad::sad::sad:
France will do it !
#1118
Dude, forget it, Portugal will win this for honour!
#1119
Kick ass match yesterday. Similar to 1982, Italy is never as strong as when there are problems in the calcio. Great Juventini (Cannavaro - Zambrotta - Buffon mostly, Camoranesi played weel too – I am a fan of the Juve) and great Pirlo - Gattuso (100 balls each, amazing stats).
Tonight, mmmm, how to say it politely, mmmmm, I think C. Ronaldo… hmmmm never mind.
ALLEZ LES BLEUS :buttrock:
I have read on a newspaper that Cannavaro said that whatever may happen, he will stay @ Turin. Vieira is already in Capello’s pack.
