Oh man! talk about a rock and a hard place! Oh well…you can be happy whatever the outcome or maybe not lol! If we DO go out I hope it’s in normal time - extra time and THEN penalties - blimey! It’s a killer, Italia 90, Euro 96, Euro 2004 - I’ve been through all of them - it’s bad. bad, bad to lose in normal time but the extra 30 minutes and then the dreaded penalty shootout = leaves the nerves totally shredded!

I’ll never forget Euro 96 - we were holding a party to watch the game - the house was full and by the end of the match we were all shattered - evryone just left no one really said a world, no goodbyes nothing - I’ll never forget it and then ITV played “every body hurts” by REM at the end as Shearer and co sat deslolate on the pitch…blimey it was awful. Every time I hear that sing I get gossebumps remembering that night…as I said earlier it’s happened so many times following England…
