Fluids Demo.

Hi all,
Been working for a while on this, pushing the limits on RealFlow, our rendering farm and my work mates patience

All simulations done in RealFlow, rendered in Max using VRay as well as Krakatoa.

Hope u enjoy it.

Tomorrow will post a high res version.

Cheers

Dude that first sim is sweeeet, looks like you have a krakatoa pass (for foam) on top of a realflow pass, is it? Nice color too

Nice drops, and the stream morph to dust:cool:

hey nice work Carlos,

how long did the first shot take to simulate in realflow. Also are you guys using 64bit?

cheers

paul

ps hope you are well mate!

Cheers guys!

John: I did use a couple of Krakatoa passes on that first shot., one for foam and another one to give a bit more randomness to the water itself.

Hey Paul, how u doing matey.
The sim on the wave scene must have taken something like a day, its actually a bit longer, on the original setup I had 3 different camera perspectives, on a 64bit machine,8 Cores and 8 Gig Ram. Would have been impossible otherwise. In total there are 4 emiters, although in the end I only used 3 for meshing, 2 for the liquid and 1 for foam.
The bitch was the rendering, on average there was around more than 10 hours per frame, with the longest frame render at around 40 hours.
Rendered with VRay, with GI n Motion blur…plus the extra Krakatoa passes.

Ta ra.
