hi, I would not consider this a matte painting, this is more a photo manipulation , I don’t quite understand your concept or what you tried to do , but I would suggest you visit the tutorial thread inside this matte painting forums, and you will find help with visual composition, color, techniques and more related stuff about matte painting.
