First CGSchicago Meeting : July 17th - 6-8pm downtown Chicago

We have a venue! Everyone mark your calendars and make some time in July. ITA is being kind enough to let us use their conference room space for our kick off meeting. This initial meeting is a meet and greet so bring business cards, your ideas for the group, work that you may want to show, and let’s have a bit of fun.

Sorry I didn’t make it! (Had stuff come up). How many people actually made it out last night? Another meeting in September? Awesome, although I’ll be out part of September, but maybe it won’t overlap.

Cool, a chicago meet. I’m very interested in meeting with other artists around my area, though, I’m still fairly new to 3d, hopefully, I’ll have something to show when the next meet comes around and would love to learn a lot from other artists as well. I’m also wondering what you guys did at the meet. Hopefully something productive…:stuck_out_tongue:

That was a great introductory meeting. Great job Marcus, Tony, and Jon. I’m glad to hear about the non-profit status. FREE Food was great. People were cool. September is so far away…

The 18th is the official date, and the location will be somewhere downtown. We’re looking at a couple of different spots right now but we will let everyone know when we land on one location.
