It’s an honor to now be part of the CGSociety! I have already learned so much by reading articles and all of your inputs from the forums. I look forward to learning more and adding my two cents from time to time.
I’ve been in computer graphics for a long time now. In fact, I was the first at my University and in our Design department (Brigham Young University in Provo, UT) to do a design project on a computer (Mac IIe). I’ve created and art directed computer graphics from product sketches to complete games. My most identifiable projects have included art directing the creation of 6 Curious George CD’s and 15 Curious George books (yes the traditionally illustrated books in the H. A. Rey style). For the past 5 years I have been working freelance creating corporate product animations and college centered instructional pieces in Flash. Now that we are able to post animations on our portfolios, I’ll add some soon.
I’m awed by the talent here and I’m sure to improve as I gain insight from all of you.
