To improve I drew some flour sack poses to empty my mind of poses, found that adapting the poses to figure is easier.
I have been watching the Glenn Vilppu anatomy videos and reading Burne Hogarth’s Dynamic Anatomy, I have been reconditioning my thinking when blocking out poses. using spheres and cylinders to block in forms instead of cubes the poses don’t look so stiff.
To come out of my drawing comfort zone I will be focusing on drawing hands and feet this week that is the only way I will improve.
