I find that a lot of my scenes can be setup with just an IBL for fill and an FG friendly plane (mib_cie or mia_light_surface into mia_x.additional color) as a more focused key.
as a result my render passes amount to only an Indirect pass (no light for diffuse, etc.)
is this recommended? I know I lose some control as I can’t separate the key from the fill in one pass. Thanks for your thoughts.
