Few Questions from a newbie

#1

Well I just got Messiah and really like it but a few small questions.

  1. Is there a printable PDF version of the docs so I can print and read them wherever I want.
  2. Are there resources for shaders for messiah besides the Zoogano site?

Thanks for any help. I had it less than a week and rigged and animated a character already nto a great one but hey 1 week.

The documentation is one of messiahs major issues according to me, it seems that there’s no PDF version of such, but you can print out the docs just the same.
I did myself but I reccomend you to go through them before, just to see if there are parts you may want to skip, like the tutorial section that you might just as well keep digital since you need your computer to go through them anyway.

As far as the shader question I believe zoogono is the only site, but I really would suggest to download the AON documentation to understand the messiah shader workflow, even if you don’t buy the shaders.

Then there’s always Simbiont a free system of shaders that you can tryout.

Hope I was helpful,

Cool I will get those docs. I agree about The documantation thought soemoen might have doen something along those lines. I think a shader share would be cool. Ihave been playing with the shaders and made a few that were pretty decent but seems to be a lot of trouble. If you have 20 good shaders then you can use those to make another few hundred just tweaking the shaders.

One more quick question is there a way to get rid of the ground plane in renders?

Go to the “Render” tab and under “surfaces” click the little green circle next to ground so it turns red. That will turn off that surface and the ground will no longer show. Click it again back to green if you want to see it again.

Thanks my fault. Got your message just before the internet died here. (cable broke that connects Southeast asia to the rest of the world.) I have really been learnign a lot and even made a few cool shaders. Once things get back up to full speed. I might even post up a shader or two. I will downlad the documantation once the net here is up to full speed.
