Wow DMonk.

I’m going to have to show this to Lysol

I think he’d like it but I think he’d have some critique as well. I’ll let you know what he says.

Thanks

I didn’t address your crits from before just yet, I’ve been trying to get the hands right.

#13

Nice work guys.

#14

Small update:

Happy Holidays!

#15

Kool , looks like you should BEEF UP the chain belt a bit…
I’m sure you will also add some wrinkles and rough up the pants a bit.

#16

Flog, good find on the concept artist. I like this character and can’t wait to see the rest!

Great job dmonk! I’d agree with BOY1DA though, bigger chain links would be a worthwhile enhancement to this model. Your have an interesting style that shows in your models.

No disrespect meant to dmonk’s model, but I really like the design and would like to give it a shot. Would I be stepping on any toes if I attempted to model this character?

#17

hey take a crack it if you want, on the silo3d forum there are a ton of folks taking a crack at this character. I’m sure we’d all like to see it.

#18

Go for it dude!

#19

wow DMONK the more I look at your model the better it looks. I would love to see him animated.

#20

Thanks flog! I’m not an animator though. I could rig him and pose him when I finish him up, but animating isn’t really my thing. I 'm glad you like the model though. I kind of took a break from this over the holiday to get a few other things out of my head and worked out in 3d. I can get back to this with some fresh eyes later this week.

#21

Well, I blocked out the shape…

One of these days I’ll finish something I start…

#22

Post some more model sheets

#23

You don’t know how much I wish I could. The artist I think is going out on me. I haven’t heard from him in weeks.

I almost at a loss and looking for another artist right now, so far a lot of good guys have come forward but still in the amateur stage.

If you know anyone with a cool animated style artwork please let me know. I’d love to hire him for my project. Someone reliable.

#24

This is one of the more generic human characters of the film

#25

I was wondering want happened to you.

#26

Yeah, i hope you found another slave…err i mean concept artist!

#27

Yeah I’m still around, back in search for an artist.

The artist I’m working with is cool, great and the style is tremendously good, but at the same time I don’t hear much from him or see alot of work coming out, so looking to obtain a new artist with an entirely differant style.

I want to get started on modelling and animating.

Yeah, i hope you found another slave…err i mean concept artist!

I wish I had a slave to do my bidding, lol, but nope, paid laborers.

After months of planning and going back to the drawing board I’m back. I have not stopped on this project and all that planning was for this project.

I wanted to share some characters and give you an idea of where this is going or might go.

I don’t know if many will see it but for those who do I hope you enjoy.

This is by a great artist in the France area name Emanuel. Great artist. Let me know what you think and would you like seeing an animation in this style.

This is actually going to be an online series. We are going to keep it simple animation and aimed more toward IPOD and WEB.

When I say simple animation we are going for simplicity that you see in some of the best Flash cartoons. That way we get done. It will be slightly cell shaded. We are going for a comic book look. Each episode series will start with a cool concept of turning the page. We’ll have a great cover for each episode by various artists.

here is a psuedo cover for Episode 1
