Thanks folks! I appreciate the kind comments!

Bob - we missed you this challenge, hopefully you’ll have a month or threee free next time around to participate!

Theresa - I plan on getting back to Brain-Bots soon, but have been sidetracked by a vacation (yay!), in illustration I’m doing for the Sierra Club, and updating my web-site. And add to that the fact that the last time you commented on that thread, you thought the characters were out of perspective, so now I have to build 3D models and position everything and make sure they’re all at the right perspectives. Whew!

Jerome - Yeah, this wa a fun one. Hooray for the God-Rays club!

flyingP - I’m glad I went with the bird, it really gave me a change to lighten up the picture witha face like that!

Aly - Sorry you weren’t able to join us all the way through this time, maybe next one…?

frameless - your favorite? wow, thanks! I hope the judges agree with you!

and eveyone else - thank you all as well, too!

-mike

Front page, Mike! Congrats! You deserve it, so you do! :buttrock:

Walrus,

Every year you reach a higher level of mastery. I learn more from your WIP threads than any other. Thanks for showing so much of your workflow.

And though you escaped the dungeons of Blizzard looong ago, and it has absolutely nothing at all to do with this gorgeous image, any chance that one day you can put together a making of the modeling and texturing of your Barbarian Diablo game characters? From start to finish, mind you. No skimping.

Of course, after the Sierra Club is finished with you, The Elks will call, then the National Geographic Society. Audobon and McCall’s. Grrrr. :banghead: Stupid paying clients. They’re hawgin’ all your knowledge and talent.

Anyway, your work is a pleasure to study. Thanks for all the details and explanations. :buttrock:

I really like this style, great job - i dont think theres anything more to add. So 5 stars, but one more thing, i don’t suppose theres any chance of getting a hi-res version?
