Extraction texture map


Hi !

I have some problems with the normal maps extraction
My uvw of my mesh is OK but when I extract the normal map I have some king of artefact

It’s never at the same place…

My version of mudbox is 2010 Sp1
I don’t understand anything :cry:

Does anyone can help me ?

It looks like your UVs are too close together. Spread them out a little bit and see if that helps. You have to leave a little bit of space for edge bleed.
