Hi, I might want to get the LE version. Why some of the numbers are reserved for a number of days? Does it mean that someone already booked these numbers or its just the way it is?

I entered my key and code earlier and got to the checkout but didnt have my card handy. Now when I go back to order it it tells me the key and code are invalid :-/

Can someone hit the limited edition database with a hammer please. Number 401 if it makes a difference.

If you clicked on Leo’s link it’s right under the 3 pictures of the books where it says Add To Cart, and the discounted price is listed under the “BIG SAVINGS IF YOU PRE-ORDER” etc. just below that.

The reserved LE numbers are for people who had the same number last year. They have up untill the end of Friday ot order the same number again or it will get released for anyone to grab.

Artists get the choice of a free hard cover or a Limited Edition – either come with a special Artists Edition certificate.

If you took note of the Order ID, you can go to the “order status” page, and enter your CC details. Otherwise, email Helen (helen@ballisticmedia.net) and she will reset it for you.

I had a problem with the order (Expose 3 and Grand Space Opera) and sent a message to Ballistic (twice now). My Paypal funds have been sent and I’d like to know if my order went through (no email confirmation or any other correspondence)… Is there someone here on the forum that can light a fire under these guys and get them to respond?

Who did you email at Ballistic? We respond to all enquiries right away, so the problem is most likely that the email didn’t get through if you emailed twice with no response. Furthermore, you should have received email confirmation of the order - if you didn’t get anything at all, something is definitely wrong with the line of communication.

You can either try emailing Helen Snoswell (helen@ballisticmedia.net) directly (perhaps also try a different email) or call us at +61 8 8388 5966.

Again, there’s no reason at all why you shouldn’t have gotten correspondence from us.

I am about to make a purchase of Expose 3 and the latest D’Artist; but prior to that, I want to know how to get my CGS member discount as this is my first book purchase from CGS. Anyone any idea?

Hi Charles,

Just so you know, the CGS discount only applies on the CGSociety store for books that are currently in stock. d’artiste: Character Modeling is still in pre-order (it is not physically here yet) and you already get a huge pre-order discount so we can’t put combine that special offer with a CGS 5% discount. The cheapest way to get the books is to wait for d’artiste to start shipping in Mid-August and buy both at the same time. 2 books gets a 10% discount. The 5% CGS discount is only if you purchase one book.
