exporting uv maps to max

i make the models, create the uv map and texture it ok, but how do i export the uvmap to max in order to make the others maps? like bump, opacity and so on?

i can export the model with the texture on it, but i cannot edit it or put another map. it does not appear in the modifier list. can anyone help me?

thanks negative. i will try it.but i was wanting to use the maps in 3dmax. for if i could use the uv maps there i could have much more options than in wings. besides i thing the wings uv unwrap is much better than the max one

Im not sure about the 3ds format, but i prefer using the obj format which carry the uvdata with it on import to any app, ie. max as in your case.

Mattregnier explains how to use it here.

If this works with your current version of max I have no idea, you might want to do a search in 3dmax part of cgtalk since this have already been brought up numerous times.
