I’d like to be able to export the masks for layers from mudbox to a bitmap format.
What I mean is if I have a model which I’ve used layers on I’d like to be able to export the masks for those layers to a series of bitmaps that I could just load up into photoshop and use for selecting the areas those layers correspond to on the texture. For example if the eyebrows were painted onto a separate layer in mudbox I would be able to open a image that shows where on the UVs the eyebrows are.
I’ve looked through the docs and I can’t find anything that seems to do what I want. This would be very useful and would speed things up a lot for texturing.
