Exporting Exploded View...?


Hi there, I am importing my model to Substance Painter and would like to export from Max as an exploded view (working on the model in Painter in exploded state).
I can set the exploded state in Max with a simple keyframe, keyframe 1 everything fits the figure, keyframe 2 is exploded view. My problem is when I go to keyframe 2 and export as FBX (my preferred export) Max exports as keyframe 1…and I dont want to export as animation.

Is there a way to export from keyframe 2 as FBX so I can work on the model in Painter in an exploded view?


Delete the first frame keys, export then undo.
