It wasn’t too bad. I have a large tattoo on the inside of my arm just below the elbow and some of the shading on that one hurt like hell (especially the white shading, but white shading always hurts). That was the most painful one I’ve had.

Yeah. She still lives back in Cape Town, with my parents. Hopefully she’ll be able to visit me here next year though :slight_smile:
And yeah I do miss SA… well, I miss my friends and family, and Cavendish Square and the Waterfront. But that’s about it hehe.

What I surprise I got today! I was in Galway, in Eason’s and I opened up a copy of 3DWorld and what did I see but a texturing tutorial by Leigh van der Byl!!
Bet you’re happy to know that you’re being read by people all over the world… I couldn’t get the magazine though, it cost 11 euro!!
Any chance we could get a similar article for CGSociety though?

Heh I actually received my copy of that issue in the mail today :slight_smile: I’ve written quite a few articles now for 3D World…

As for CGS… well… I am currently writing an article on UV mapping for it :wink: But I am tired of writing articles about skin texturing now, especially since I tend to hate all my actual skin work, heh.
