In this first post I want to describe my personal approach to contest.
In my rough ‘first’ storyboard there are some characters, some city views and space views that I want to realize with personal (but common) technics of modelling.
I pay my attention firstly to story and final view

cheers to all

Nice, straightforward concept involving some key visuals from the story. I especially like the idea of framing the whole sequence with Patricia and the proposed lighting for her. Looks good.

i like your storyboards, im looking forward to seeing more, good luck.

3d previsualization of the earth for first rough action footage

realized with 3 sphere
one for glow
one for clouds
one for earth and sea
in this way I can rotate the sphere clouds for a wind effects

Hi MediaCyborg!!! nice to see another italian in this challenge!!!

to obtain a realistic effect you could attenuate the ambient light in the shadow zone of the earth and atmospheric ring too.

Forgive me my bad english.

ciao!!!
