Mid-Level 3D Modeler Wanted

Architecture firm looking for a mid-level, self-motivated, and detail-oriented 3D modeler to join growing VR team. Our group creates professional, photo-realistic, 3D spaces for architectural, educational, corporate, and government organizations. We create photo-realistic renderings and cinematic animations of existing and conceptual environments.

      [b]Job Description:[/b]

 Position available for creative, motivated 3D modeler to join hard-working team developing high-resolution, interior and exterior 3D environments.  Key responsibilities include creating 3D art elements for high-end, pre-rendered cinematic and print work.  Candidate will work with group Art Director to achieve stylistic effects such as Photo-Realistic styling, Illustrative styling, and Cinematic styling.  Position requires limited client interaction and no travel.

 
 [b]Requirements:[/b]

             -Intimate knowledge of 3D software (3D Studio or maya), Adobe Photoshop, and Adobe After Effects.

-Strong artistic skills and working knowledge of 3D art production.
-Ability to create 3D models and 2D texture maps from CAD files and photographs.
-Enthusiasm to hit the ground running in a creative, team environment.
-Experience with Auto-CAD a plus.
-Strong skill with lighting techniques a big plus.
-Strong skill with 3D software camera setup also a big plus.

     Compensation to be based on individual qualifications as discussed during interview. Position available to local Chicago residents. Candidates requiring corporate sponsorship for visas will not be considered.
