Environment Artist


For the upcoming career mode of our game BeamNG.drive we are looking for a motivated and skilled Environment Artist to join our team in Bremen, Germany.
You will get the chance to implement own ideas, work together with an international team of artists and developers, and, most importantly, actively contribute to the look of the finished game.


  • Producing high quality assets, both technically and artistically
  • Ensure performance and technical quality of 3D environment assets
  • Optimization of assets to fit technical requirements and specifications provided by all relevant departments
  • Setting up materials and shaders for in-house engine
  • Design assets in collaboration with 2D/Concept artists
  • Work together and communicate closely with art department and other team members


  • Experience with digital content creation tools such as Photoshop
  • Great understanding of next gen asset creation workflows
  • Experience with modeling and texturing of environment assets: hard surface as well as some organic (sculpting)
  • Experience with creating complex environments in a next generation, real time pipeline
  • Experience working within and implementing 3D work into a game engine
  • Very good skills in 3DS Max or Blender
  • High responsibility and self motivation to discover and solve problems alone and in a team
  • Strong English skills (written and verbal): All communication will be in English

  • Experience in Substance Designer, Substance Painter, Zbrush, Photoshop xnormal, World Machine
  • Basic knowledge of physically based rendering (PBR)
