haha wow you got into that one! hahaha i like the dog running away idea…if i put the mother in it might take away from the whole solitude in the middle of nowhere i feel. more gnomes would be cool…hmmmmmm you got me thinking…

#23

added one more goblin… hes hard to see left hand side. kinda cute little monkey guy…I gotta tell you compared to the past 2D challenges this ones looks very seriously juicy…lots of good stuff

#24

Looking very good!!!
I can’t really crit about it yet but it looks like it is coming along nicely!!!

#25

Those goblins are great!

#26

hey koryh your portfolio is just amazing… blew me away…i have to stop making web sites and do more illustrations…

#27

This is moving along great. I commend you for the really interesting viewpoint:) it’s never easy for me to break out of the norm. Cool lighting.

As far a critique, none really… but, I can only mention the type of problem areas I would struggle with if I was doing this piece. That would be…watch out for the proportions of the kid, it’s tough sometimes not to make them look like tiny adults. when you add in the radical perspective it makes even more difficult.

hey sleepless, i know what you mean about that being the hard part, believe me its no coincidence that thats what im leaving for last…perspective is hard and the perspective i chose i think is even harder…thanks for the comments:beer:

Hello!

Very nice picture you have there. Original and interesting. I have one comment on the composition. If you look at the attached picture you can see i’ve pointet out an imaginary line that draws too much attention. Suggest that you bend the arm of the candelcarrying goblin a bit. I think if you did something there, just a small adjustment, you will have a great picture.

Elfufu, what a fantastic piece you’ve got here. Man I’m pissed that I’ve been missing all of the great work here. It seems to me that as far as artistic work and the quality of the pictures themselves this 2D stuff here is on a higher level than most of the 3D stuff. I really love your piece. It tells such a story without a word.

I guess I’m going to really kick a$$ on my 3D piece to get up to your artistic quality.

#38

ALMOST done i might add some things but i doubt it if anything i’ll do another drawing all together

#39

Done? But you have 4 more weeks! At least add some more definition to the main troll guy in the middle so he’s more of a focal point.

#40

yeah youre right i’ll work on it more.

#41

Yes:bounce: If it’s done great, if not…great! Plenty of time to show us more. I think you handled a tough composition really well. I too am wondering when to stop.
