Embarassingly simple issue

I’m following allan mckay’s tutorial on the volcano smoke/fire large sim. And at one point he stops at a particular frame which has already been previewed, and he renders that frame. Now, when i go to render my simulation does not display. Theres nothing in his tutorial i could see that i didn’t do. Is there a simple way to check whther my simulation will be included in my render? I’m using the default renderer.

Well it will help if you can post your created max file here. It will be easier to detect the errors…
