This is and old forgoten design I made about three years ago, that I’ve rediscover and finished. its a small jewell/filigram based in the mixture of concepts, first the idea of the Fabergé Eggs designed by Peter Carl Fabergé and his assistants between 1885 and 1917 for the Russian Czars mixed with some elphic/tolkienesque imaginery. This work is somehow in the same line as my Poseidons Trident:

Modeled and rendered in Cinema 4D ( using Advance Render Module) and color correction and DOF in photoshop. I hope you like it.

Superb work as usual!. I was waiting to see the image in full ever since you used it as your portfolio banner. It’s got a really nice retro-feel that reminds me of Metropolis, or the Myst games.
