Version 7.0 is the most feature packed upgrade to the Electric Image Animation System in 5 years. “We are extremely pleased with the depth of features introduced in EIAS 7.0. This substantial upgrade should lure many of our users from all previous versions to the best EIAS yet. Electric Image Animation System 7.0 is the second release of software from the new ownership and management at EI Technology Group. EIAS 7.0 has been developed on EI Technology Group’s new progressive development schedule. “We have increased our development time with a series of improved collaboration tools and improved system pipelines. These changes in the inner workings of EITG have increased our development timeline by 200%. The Press Release has a link to the Complete Feature List but all I find is the Preliminary Feature List. Am I missing something here?

We announce the full feature list when the shipping starts. That was a typo in the newsletter but the list is still impressive.

Obviously until the DVD goes “gold master” we will not release a full feature list. However, if you do order before the full feature list is given we offer a $50 coupon. It is a give and take situation. To date EITG, has never delivered LESS features then were announced in a preliminary feature list. Most likely you will receive more features that are better described then in this list.

You obviously have the right to cancel your order before it ships. So you really won’t have any risk since we will announce the full feature list before EIAS actually ships.

Hi Phil

The v7 feature list is very impressive, but the one of the most important
area’s is missing for me and most user’s on the forum.

FBX texture import and solid UV texturing.

It is no good having a fantastic new render, if we still cannot get are object and texture data
into EIAS without having to manually set-up the Texturing again and this takes far too much time.

Better import and much faster setup workflow is what EIAS 7 needs to grow it’s user base.

By the way i have spent most of my day texturing in Animator 6.6 so please forgive me ranting on.

Will i be updating to V7…yes
