EI style Silo UI

#1

For anyone who has missed this - here’s my EI style interface for Silo.

First version has switchable icon/text buttons and fits 1280x1024 screens -

Download it here - http://www.btinternet.com/~reuben.flounders/downloads/ElectricImageUI.zip

Latest version is a work in progress and is icon based only, i made this for my new monitor so its pretty big 1920x1200

Download here - http://www.btinternet.com/~reuben.flounders/downloads/ElectricImageUI2.zip

Enjoy !

Thanks, I specially like the “save to Fact” button (although technically it’s only a “save as…” -button)

Don’t think i can do a “save to fact”, but i prefere to have the options anyway.

Oh, I wasn’t complaining you know. I guess I should have put a little smiley in my post. There you are

Didn’t think you were complaining, just glad if someone else finds it usefull, personally i dont care much for text based UI (LW etc), just wanted to create something that looks good and works !

Guess i’ll have to start all over when Silo 2 is released :banghead:

Hi Reuben,

This interface looks really good. I think I’m hooked on the hotkey workflow in Silo and the marking menu and hotbox workflow in Maya. Still, the icons are stunning! Have you considered offering your services to EITG? Seriously, it’s something to consider.

Thanks

Its really only a skin, i did want to have hotbox or pie ? menus as well, but in silo’s current state the user customization features are rather limited.

Those icons were a hell of a lot of work, but i knew that i could continue to use them with later versions of silo… well i hope

Offering my services is not something i generally do (probably why i don’t have a job in CG  but besides, the only time they would need that kind of stuff would be for a new UI and/or modeling tools :hmm:

I’d love to work on EI’s interface though…

Worth repeating, just to make sure someone important sees it…
