PâClip, neither of those is really a link to the Gallery ~ you probably get the same error message as Aggie did previously right? Like this:
vBulletin Message Paperclip, you do not have permission to access this page. This could be due to one of several reasons:
[ol]
[li]Your user account may not have sufficient privileges to access this page. Are you trying to edit someone elseâs post, access administrative features or some other privileged system?[/li]> [li]If you are trying to post, the administrator may have disabled your account, or it may be awaiting activation.[/li]> [/ol]
Even if you uncheck the submit to CGTalk Gallery option, a thread is still created, but it is AUTOMATICALLY REJECTED, and those are the two threads you are seeing in your User CP. If you click on those, they go nowhere (theyâre ârejectedâ threads), so donât worry about it.
Cheers,
~Rebeccak
kraal,
Youâre welcome to keep those images in the CGTalk Gallery, or, if you prefer them to be deleted (say, if they are older examples of work) then thatâs fine too, just let me know.
Cheers,
~Rebecca
All those non cgsociety members will be wondering what the hell is going on with all these disappearing gallery images.
great haiku becca
inspirational . thanks for the clarification now i can delete the automatic subscription in my usercp
Problem FixedâŚ
Thanks to Anton, the option to submit your CGPortfolio image to the CGTalk Gallery is now UNCHECKED by DEFAULT, meaning that you will not be submitting work to the CGTalk Gallery unless you want to.
Cheers,
~Rebeccak
I just noticed another addition. Whatâs the âAdd this image to the âFeatured Artworkâ listâ option do? Itâs under my images in the gallery.
Itâll be gone soon
Itâs a moderation feature - currently moderation involves me digging into the database and tapping in code
So for that short period of time I have the power to add images to the featured artwork list? Cool!
That must have been what happened (Iâm talkign about the invalid link) and yes, itâs the same thing that happened to lemoggy.
Yay for premature cries for help!
