Anyone has some tutorials to add? As you can see i put some work in this, so i would really would like to have some feedback, if i have all the tutorials you can think of etc. It’s like no one even noticed this threat so i would be very pleased, if someone could add or say something :thumbsup:

That is quite the list…Thanks for putting this all together mate, there is are not alot of easy to find tut’s out there about Maya dynamics. This will be of great help to many people,…I’m sure this will be a sticky in no time.

cuz of the problem of grashupfa making a fireball, i tried building one and to explain how it
works, i wrote my steps down.

so here is the link, i would be very happy if anybody has ways to optimize this tut or the steps, otherwise enyoy playing with it.

No problem mate :smiley: I’m just happy to help out, could you show me an example of how your explosion is looking and how you did it? Or are you still playing with all the settings? Maybe i’ll add some more if i see some more, if they have been put on the internet in the mean time.

why isn’t it a sticky yet? should be!
unfortunately the tutorial on texture based particle emission is for 3dsmax. now i was wondering if there was something like that for maya? google wasn’t very helpful ;(

edit: but of course the maya tutorials were, haha. problem solved :bounce:

There are lots of nCloth tutorials on my blog, although currently they are not well indexed. You need to go through the archives to find them, as just selecting nCloth will only display a few.
