     Hey all so this is going to be my entry into DW4 and i got a good idea of what i plan on doing. 
       
       
      So my char is going to be a Gatherer who cleans the field of parts, and finishing off wounded minions, he then takes them back and fixes other minions with the pieces. 
       
      so i did a super rough sketch... i plan on fleshing it out and doing some more thumbnails since this is soo rough

cool idea, cool concept. He needs more weight on him though, that’s a big ass sack!! your gatherer is picking up after my characters blood shed! :wink:

update on base Geo, So i decided to just start sculpting some forms too see what i want, still haven’t decided on a face and that could change it all, but this is where i am at…

  Let me know what you think.  oh and the feet are still WIP, ill probably do more human foot.

Reminds of that myth where the stable-keeper had his nose cut off. Thereby sparing him the stench of horse manure. Could fit with all the death, blood etc.

Omnidzyne - sounds cool, i tried something new could go back.

So here is a update of more form sketches, better then my first post since ive had more time.

cool so far, I would keep track of the wrist a bit better, if u bend it 45’ you’ll have more feel for it :slight_smile:
Is gonna be a challenge to make him feel balanced tho, look up some reference of workers lifting heavy weights and stuff for pose/gesture that holds up with all tht weight on his back.
keep it UP! maybe PS your model integrating tht backpack with some transpose

StefanoDubay – thanks, yeah the wrist was messed i think i fixed it… also i kinda switched up the bag after many tests, the weight wasnt working like you said.

  Hey all back for another post and update...   changed the idea a bit, making the bag part of the char, adding the arm from the concepts and really working the more deformed body. 

still needs alot of work…

great modelling mate! i like it a lot but I really think that your first sketch has more personality. The skiny arms and legs makes him look more creepy, much more apropiate to something that collects body parts. Your last one looks much more like a fighter i think. Anyhow you’re doing great.

rodia – thanks dude, yeah i liked the first idea but got totally side tracked and started making it something else. hehe!!! i always do that.

SO here a update of the new sorta path its going down, which is and gatherer still, but he consumes the fallen into him eating their souls and flesh. 
     
     I did a rough pain on the left side to show where its going with eyes and teeth. Let me know what you guys think.

       So here is my final wip/concept, with paint over, so i am going to start my base mesh a sculpt off this idea. the back bag will be filled with souls and people.

Ferx - thanks dude, yeah it was more just throw it anywhere but wont be in the final design.

   SO i finally found some time and after a few design changes and a mesh total overhaul,  i got back into zb with a first pass on the face and a rough paint over in PS.
