Thanks guys!

And yeah I’m aiming for demon lord.

Still thinking of bodies…

Heres an attempt at something non-humanoid shaped which is what I’d prefer… this ones not about the details, it was mostly just to see how a body shaped like this would feel… I’m not too fond of it for many reasons but it might help with future brainstormings…

Here we are, Tamas the killer is in the place
Looks really really cool! That would be a lot of limbs to texture
I’m just wondering how his front legs would be able to walk though.
Very nice work, can’t wait for more!

Hi Soggy;
Body looks great! My only critics is behind of the body looks less powerful than front. I cant wait to see some more variations.

#24

uuh, weird. the raven like wings are my favourite, in 3D this could be a very impressive character.

#25

Hey man! Remember you from last year, very nice work… Congrats on the placement!
I like what you have going in the last one… I like how he looks like hes halfway out of a nest/caveopening under his wings, just waiting to jump out and catch you. that could make for some really cool lightplay. The sideview looks dynamic also, need some work maybe, but its just a rough i know. You definately have some nice ideas to keep for further experimentation. Looking forward to whats coming up! Keep it up m8!

Hey Tamas! Cool work man! Awesome entry last year as well, I am sure you won’t disappoint this year. I like where this is going but he looks a little too cluttered at the moment, besides that he is a bad ass sketch :stuck_out_tongue:

#28

Impressive

#29

Crazy sketches they are… Definitely you have style. I can tell you that. It`s pleasure to watch your progress…

Hope to see you in the finish line…

#32

I definitely like where this last one is headed Soggy. It feels really heavy and unique, how close are you to decided on it? Would love to see some models soon on it. Oh and thanks for the input on mine, really helpful.

Cheers!

#33

this guy is looking pretty scarey, not to mention he looks like one bad mother! totally feels like a boss character. when are you gonna start sculpting?

#34

insane work going on here, looking forward to see where this goes, love the sketches!!

#35

I think you’re on the track with the last drawing. Still you need to put some unique elements into the design. Good work so far

#36

wow really crazy sketches, u sure got imagination! Would love to see that last one in 3D!
Good luck!

#37

Thanks for the encouraging words and feedback guys!

Didn’t get to work much on it this past week but I have to kick it into gear.
I’ve decided to move forward with the last sketch cause I’m running out of time… I started blocking in the model… still very rough… I’m still thinking of what I can do with the legs as theyre bugging me, but we’ll see… Will continue doing paintovers and tests now that I have a base…

I’ve painted over the head to try and finalize it’s design.

#38

Wow, very interesting concepts, your way to approach the character design is very creative and original!
I’m waiting for the next progresses! Good work!

#39

Nice to see you back in it T!

The arms in their pose are the nicest bit so far. It’s small, but I can see some nice detail that will be fun to work there.

Looking nice man! Keep it up!
