an idea I had for a Invoker type character but i wont be going for this. I will post another one which I like better. I actually started the base mesh so i need to catch up on the update part. sorry :stuck_out_tongue:

i imagined this dude to have the power to tear off chunks of rocks and earth from his surrounding and use to either inflict damage or slow the enemy down.

and here is the one I already blocked. Also a Norms Classe. This one is a Clericon.
He is missing a few details which should help sell him more as Clericon. I want to give somekind of staff/cane with some mystical religious symbols hanging from it. Speaking of hanging, i will give him some piercing for some rings. If I can find the time i will take this PS and put down color.

pretty disturbing dude. i thought your first concept was a little too simple but the last one really has potential :eek:, keep it up and don’t falter because we’re near the finish.

yea the first was a warm up i guess. I didnt develop and push the details as much.
Now i’m struggling to pause my model. That second one was a lot easier to draw in that position. I didn’t even think too much - about his posture or position- while sketching. God I hate skining…:banghead:

ZBrush will probably do it better and faster with the Transpose.
I’ll have some updates soon.

the base mesh in progress or rather almost finished. I still have to make some final tweaks add a couple of details to max out the 10K Budget and then on with sculpting.
I guess its the old workflow - first the base mesh with final topology and then painting details. Ooops and i still have to unwrap although thats fast.

I dont really know what the colors will look like so if anyone has any thoughts feel free to share’ em.

a work in progress of the colored version of my Clericon concept.
I love this part or process. I started rough and fast but as always, I soon found myself painting fine details while thinking about random stuff. I should be able to post the finished thing soon. Just one or two more touches…

Great Job Wal! The details are amazing, I can feel the wrinkles and the hollow between them. I’m looking forward for the final version of the Clericon!

So here is the finished concept. I am wondering though, should my character carry specific team colors even if he doesnt have any armor or weapons?
