so howz life roolin?

#22

Great! Great! :buttrock: Now he is the ultimate cyborg! those huge muscles… wow!
did you extrude separate pieces for the fingers in that original basemesh… or was it all just a single block? did u retopo at any stage till now? or is it all still from that original basemesh… man! superb sculpting! keep rocking bro!

#23

thanx guys for the replies. appreciate it

this was the second time someone mentioned about addeing some robotic components so i just gave it a try not the final, just a quick 10 min sculpt to see if it looks good. so guys wada think.

  • always had this feeling that cyborgs and mech with exposed wire and machinery are easy to take down. just walk up behind them and cut some wires :). i blame Judge Dread the movie for that, in the last scenes when the mammoth ABC robot is taken down by Rod Schnieder .

#24

looks really cool, it kills well your symmetry

#25

Excellent modeling work  I see some StarCraft in your character, which is a good thing in my world

#26

thats a 10min sculpt? damn! i think it looks great! :buttrock: just forget Judge Dread  and go ahead with it…

btw, my question remains unanswered  may be you missed it… so i will paste it once again here

did you extrude separate pieces for the fingers in that original basemesh… or was it all just a single block? did u retopo at any stage till now? or is it all still from that original basemesh…
now i have another question this time… whats the current polycount of this highmesh…how many millions? and wats ur system config? pls pls… answer it :wavey:

Great Going!

#27

oops …im sorry namnocilis . i did mention it in a previous reply, thats the reply right after the commando pic. i retopoed it and added a basemesh of a hand to it.however the leg is still the original basemesh

my system spec is .quadcore 6600 2.4, 9800gtx and 4 gb ram
7.2 mill polygons on the body and leg

#28

Damn…I had almost the same thing in mind for my cyborg’s face. You beat me to it…Cool work

#29

wow! Thanks for clearing the doubt

#30

i really like the addition although I dont know how pipes match with your design altho I’m sure you can just enchance the rest with some pipe thing going on. By the way I really like the legs, good style.

#31

thanx guys…looks like its good,so now ill start modeling in max, not much time left.

#32

love the mech details on the face…keep on going like this man…

#33

The new details look great, keep them =)

#34

I like the addition of the mech bits to the face, it pulls the character together with the mech legs. He looked like he was sitting in a washing machine before, he he  Great sculpting on the torso, inspirational!

#35

Great 3D model. Amazing detailing.

keep it up:beer:

#36

hey Faraz!!

nice progress so far . . .
I really like the idea of using 3d(zbrushing) for concept, I was also thinking about that for my entry but tried photoshoping this time and it took too much time to complete in 2d.

One personal thought, I think you like working on muscular bodies, don’t you? :curious:

#37

Hi Faraz,

Nice going, love your character’s torso…:applause:
Best of Luck

#38

Wow, so powerful body model. I like it!^^

#39

Good going mobin …keep up the good work
