,.and thanx to everyone for the replies…you guys have kept me motivated.

heres a cry engine render, it all realtime (lub cry), only the mentioned maps (diffuse,spec, normal and alpha) are being used. no subsurface,no sun shafts and i even toned down the SSAO.there is some issue however with screencapture ,its giving me strange lines as you can see in the render.something to do with HDR , i am finidind a fix for it.

i am thinking of using the left side for the presentation shot and the right side with some morning snow strom effects.also going to make a ped witha a Demon skull crushed under his feet

hope you guys like it.

Tasks Remaining:

1.complete tex of boots aka sneakers
2.complete tex of weapon
3.final tex check
4.ped with skull( oh man!!!:argh:)
5.final images

thanx chandra. yes i am working on it…it was just a test render…however i dont think i will be able to fix it to 100% anatomically correct. i tried my best rigging it.but i am working on the hands and fingers

hi guys

this is kinda last post before the deadline,just a final style i am aiming for. i pretty sure that the first image lighiting i will use for presentation shot.the next image i am going to change the night pose to a different one(still working on a the pose) . also might zoom in on the body more . also need to fix small tex issues in Body Paint.

i know its kinda late asking you guys.but if pointers to help ,please let me know.im going to practically stay online till the deadline.

hopefully i can finish in time and post turntable videos in cryengine.

thanx DDs. actually i set the Screenspace Ao to zero in cryengine cos my diffuse already had ao., so using it in cryengine was resulting in toomuch darkness.

yea but i really think it depends on more what kind of output you are seeking, if its grudgy high specular look aka gearofwar then its unreal so for a demon like yours i think Unreal was a good optione. but if its realisim you want then Cry is the way to go.

anyway the way technology is progressing ,i think all engines will end up being super cool in some time. i mean the new unreal and cryengine now have diffuse bounce lighting which is awesome…thanx to defered shading,atleast thats wat i think
