a very unique name for the character… The Twice, liked it… a dino demon
the head design is looking nice and detailed but seems like it could be really challenging to get those details out of normal map especially because there are lot of areas that are protruding out… Good Start! looking forward for updates

hello again,
right now I’m focusing on the rocky structures, trying to decide what to model
and what not.
Also I decided where to put the CGtalk insignia, and the next step will be definig
the look of his “real” head, the little one.

I want my demon lord to look like an altar of some unknown god,
maybe you guys can help me with some great ideas?

: yes you’re right I have to study a way to keep all the detail I want,
that’s why I’m now separating the various parts of my model.

And finally here’s his description:

Also known as “The evil tempter”, he is a Demon Lord able to attract and manipulate the minds of his victims.

His true shape is unknown because The Twice is a creature that uses darkness to conceal his true appearance and intentions, it is said that he always shows himself covered of gold and precious stones.
“The Twice” seems to be attracted and fed of fear, weakness and thirst for power. He always operate alone and he usually deceives who approach him with empty promises in exchange of evil actions.
His skills are feared and respected from the other Demon Lords because he could upset the equilibrium of the infernal hierarchies just for a caprice.
If defied he can use his huge body to crush his opponents and cast confusion upon enemies’ rows.

As the story goes he always appears in the darkest times, when desperation and uncertainty creep into other people’s hearts.

And now he is moving to the plagued lands of Dominance War.

sweet I like the story and how it feels like an old DW legend. those last few head sketches, especially at the bottom were very cool. they feel like the heads you find on some sacred idol in African or Japanese culture. Keep on keepin on!

Hi!
Last 2 days I finished the pre-production, and now its time to start with 3d!
Here’s the (almost) final concepts:

I like A myself, hard to see that much of a difference between them tho, This guy is huge btw =)

Good lord, it’s huuuuge! I like every aspect of this entry, specially the fake head/true head concept. Darkness and concealing is almost meant to be, I’ve been working on a similar idea.
I finally realized the difference between A and C, and i guess no eyes (A) is better.
Looking forward for updates!

Very unique idea and cool concepts. Judging by your portfolio Im sure you’ll do a great job on the 3d version.

Hi,
Thanks to everyone!
I was very busy at work last 2 weeks, but finally I found some time to finish the modeling
of my character!

and right now I’m starting with the UVs and then with the sculpting!
