DWIV - 2D - fadingray - L.A.R.D. demon

#26

He’s an overweight baby with extra arms and a bad attitude, sooooo awesome. Probably if you kicked the background back with some atmospherics it would feel less messy.

#27

So gross, but so awsome XD! I love it’s happy face as it crushes people XD!!

#28

And the demons are unleashed :stuck_out_tongue:

You’re one is so so fat but really cool !

#29

Damn that thing is ugly one! great work. Somehow i think that the colours could be less bright. Maybe there could be also arrows that stick out in his skin…

#30

very good job !

#31

Love that fat guy; his roller’s a nice touch. He looks really happy too and who wouldn’t be, in his situation? GaeasHerald’s suggestion is a good one to de-messy it. The destruction going on top right is just great. In fact, I’d suggest that with a bit of tweaking that could be the main image.

live2contage, GaeasHerald, NavigatorJones, alexy, HessuHopo, ShamesArt, BaronImpossible: thank you all for support

colors will be bit toned , ill try to separate planes by using fx - smoke flames and sparks(form destruction behind lard to opposing force on the other side), or just by air perspective if fx wouldnt work
im most concerned about canvas size however- iv made two additional pictures with various width and i must say that the narrow one looks best for me - because lardy is so huge on it and compositon feels somehow better.

1
present version - added fx, fortified wall on foreground and people climbing in a hurry,
changed long limbs to little thicker, changed little hand to be pointed towards viewer (i hope its readable), chains will probably be attached to some kind of collar and dw cgs sign will be hanging on chains somewhere above roller.
and i flipped the image so demons will oppose observer and Norms- it should work if you live in culture that read from left to right ofcourse

ok now the wider canvas

and narrow

and color layers turned off +fx layer on top

Looks like we’ve got ourselves a winner here. I’m just jealous that I couldnt come up with this 1st. Great work from you bro. Keep it right up.

Just great! :arteest: wonderful work. something that I really like when I saw your early work and it caught my attention was the little hand waving his fist. it was ruff so you couldn’t tell he was actually pulling a chain, but if you could give it a try, just the him shaking his little fist would generate a great contrast with the expression on his face, like multiple emotions. anyhow loving your work, go for it. :buttrock:
and if you have some time it would be great to have you over at my place, see what you think

#35

prabath: thx mate for kind words, ill be happy to past first the selection stage

live2cottage: hmmm, ill think about that - the fist was originally designed to pull chain connected to some slashing blade on rollers’ side,
however i am receiving comments that the 1st version without chain was the best looking one.
The next thong Im gonna do is to add the rest of roller parts and chains and see what feels best.

Im bit short on free time recently but ill try to leave asap some critique in your threads guys .

cheers
