Hey thanks! Quick update got the hardest part over from the weapon.
Did some paint on it to with just ppp. Quite the look im going for, obviously with lighting and specular maps added later on

really cool! probbably one of my favorite stalkers yet! my only grip is the hip armor, is it a lion or a wolf im guessing lion cuz the other wolf one is cool so id go find some ref and polish that up a lot more 
Thank Heaven I opened this thread! It looks great! Love the details and the overall feel. Your character reminds me of the Nazgul from the Lord of The Rings. Can’t wait to see what he will look like at the very end.

Unfortunately I was away for over a week and I’m a bit behind but fear not, I’m crunching this through!
Next update I’ll try and get the low poly up and some of the normal maps baked! In the meanwhile I’ve just about finished all the high poly pieces. The body was a super quick one(maybe 20min…) so it’s not as nice for now but I’ll try and polish it up a bit more

Okay I got 95% of the stuff baked into lowpoly. Here’s the leg armor plate piece. Just the base normal and some AO. I’ll compile all the pieces together and try and have as much time as I can for the textures in this short amount of time. Cheers!

Woot woot 95% compiled! Still missing some of the minor things, a few belts that were hanging there and the talismans and the chains connected to the weapons are not alligned and done properly yet. Started on some texturing aswell, missing a second AO pass and some stuff but I’m pushing thru :D! Thinking of some poses and some small lightning effects I could do for touchup!

Sh*t, this is really cool. I think this dude would have deserved a better render, but on the other hand this really looks like game art straight from an ingame screenshot.
Character design, colors and material (specially the armor) is top notch!
Despite the entire thing being really cool, the thing that stands out most to me is the head/hood. I really like it. Sort of ornate but still cloaking his face in shadows, giving it the stalker feel. It does kind of remind of a wow rogue, ‘on crack’ haha. Practicality though a stalker with those giant weapons and shoulder armor would probably be easily spotted >.> but they definately look cool and that’s the important thing! haha Good Luck

All the texture/lighting work was done in a matter of 2-3days. But that’s just an excuse bs
Should have planned better, nothing more (plus not taking a week+ trip in the middle :D).
But overall I’m happy that I got to finish it at decent quality!
Off to the next project haha!
Edit. I’ll propably do some polish up and set up a nice render when I upload it to my cgportfolio
