Very nice concept. Really like what you got going here. Will be watching this one.
DWIII - 3D - jocz - The Blossom
Great, good to see more vegetation stuff and nice to see something thats not a cliche
Looking forward to seeing it develop.
It’s getting good!
I like the wands 3, 4 and 5… 1 and 8 are interesting too… 4 is the best one.
Keep the good work!
thanks for replies !
Clericons are not the most represented class, but we need some heals and buffs for all those freaking warlords !
here are some new wands,

I’ve not yet decided which face to model for the head, I’m not doing a portrait, just using it for a base reference.
I’ll go with the number 1 haircut.
Let me know what you think or suggest.

cool design!
looks like yours and my entry are similar clothes style a bit
the falling clothes are great but the upper body stuff is a bit silly if I may be blunt… they prove you’re good at it though so work on it some more
the face is priceless!! she looks crazy but in a very realistic and human way. great sense of character (I’d have kept it). keep working! very promising
Looking Incredible btw!! I love #1’s haircut, and as much as I like #2’s face, I like #1’s face with the hair already. Can’t wait to see in 3D
erik_j : thanks for your comment, yeah I know that the two little animals are completely “care bears” =) (if you are talking about that). I want to do them like abstracts forms, a bit like on this pic:

I’m happy with the arms/chest, I’m thinking of sculpting it like that :

For the head, I’m going to do a mix between my illustration and the number 1, and keep this expression for the winning pose.
Sashap, thanks, more 3D soon =)
new change on the original concept …
added wings, and improve shoulders “armor”,
hope you like it !

looks great with the flowers! :3
crit: the upper body and the body overall is kind of big and bulky… very broad shoulders etc…
perhaps work on a more well defined sketch to make sure things will look right in case you’re not gonna make her big like this. and are the legs drawn as they should turn out or are they that thick b/c it’s an early sketch?
there’s some constant thickness going on there over whole of char except head… and it’s risky to work so long on such a flat view (ortho view, straight pose) while making your design decisions (didn’t see before as I was still impressed :))… but I’m sure you’ve planned refining that
great going! keep it coming!
Hey,
well, it’s true, her legs are thick because of my drawing skills ^^,
the upper armor will be like a second skin, a bit bulky like on the concept sketch, and like her shoulders looks like dismembered.
I’ve got a side view on my desk, but I don’t have so much time (new job starting on monday…without holidays) !
I’m actually modeling the bear, just to see how much tris I need for it, and if I can also include him in the “character”. I think that 1.5k is the limit, and keep 7.5k for the nymph (omg so much clothes to do now -_-’). 1k or less will be cool.
a quick block in mesh tweacked into zb to find proportions …
(left is just subd 3 silhouette)

a test to know how I can assemble/mix flowers elements, and if I have to model them in low poly with classic geometry or alpha planes…

Merveieuse idée, mon ami. Your concept for the fairy is looking really good. About the faces, I fell in love with the girl from left, so I think you should made your char based on her.
The bear is turning amazing.
I’m folowing your thread and j’suis ansieux pour voir comme se sembleront votre modeles 3d. I’m subscribed to your thread now.
PS: Sorry for my poor french, I’m on basic 3 class yet
jramauri , merci ! Ton français est compréhensible, ne t’inquiètes pas ^o^
another test (I hate this word) to figure which texture density I need on bear fur to have something interesting, and if it actually works. Dont mind about topo this is the blockin mesh with an automap =)

a try on the nymph head,
don’t know yet how to do the haircut, all alpha planes or block+alpha planes ?
