Thanks for showing that very creative technique. You have impressive talent.

#85

man i have to say thats i like what your doing on this one. i just dont see why you would have to do so many steps to get that look your going for,but i ll say this. I would like to try what your doing so i can understand why your doing the wings in so many step when i know you can get the same thing with just uesing 32 bit alpha. i know your uesing alpha to but why not just ues a textuer? all and all i like you work and it looks Fing Awsome sorry if its doesnt come off that way. oh yeah how many tris are you at on your model?

thanks, ViD

thank you for the walkthrough !

Hi, thank you all for your encouraging and suggestions.

Hi ~Vidonm Medina
Why using so many steps on the wing?
Because of some fo the guests want to figure out the whole procedure.
Actually, it’s not the only way to compose this model.
If there is a way for reference, it will be the best.
During the time on this model, I also take a lot of trials.
I think I still have the space to improve
.haha

Thanks for your suggest~:)
The main reason is that I haven’t composed the
wing before, and spent lots of time on trial.
Right now, I always use my leisure time after daily work

I hope everything can be on time.
In my point of view, the contest isn’t important.
Just be willing to challenge myself and accomplish all what I would like to do.:buttrock:

Thanks~

heyhey whats up man i just wanted to say once again sorry for the way i cam off in my post. and i do see what your doing and how it works realy well if you dont have any good pics for the textuer and yeah i do the same thing in my 2D/3D work all the time trying new things is always fun some ont but at the end of it all you find some you like always the best part if not start over.oh and the only reson i said anything about your work flow has to do with how much time we all have lift on this one. i was just trying to help,:bounce: also thanks for not being pissy with me. u :buttrock: for that one. i was at work and like i am now. so with that good luck and i just hope my model can come out as good as yours.

This is awesome. I’m surprised it doesn’t have 4 stars yet when theres so many others with 4 and 5 stars that I don’t think compare to this. This is very creative and a nice balanced design. And pretty creepy too! Well done!

#91

hi…nice model…
loves the fact not using texture but actually model the wing out…
thanks for the tutorial…just wondering how you apply accurate alpha on the base the place you want…p…

it’s extremely late on my work…the date of the competition comes closer and closer …but I still need more time to accomplish the model

#95

That tail is bad ass. The metal seems a little far extruded on it. Better pick up the pace though.

#96

Firerbert~ Thank you~:)

I fixed the tail~:bounce:

#97

I like that much better! very clean and simple but still badass.

#98

Yeah that tail looks much better. Very impressed. Looking forward to seeing some color.

#99

Awesome work man! i was skeptical about the wings at first but yah pulled it off!
one thing is that the legs and wings and tail are so big that it dwarfs the arms, so id stretch them out a little bit and maybe the head too. might be neat if you gave him a long neck too!

Magnificent work! Makes we want to give up . . . or work harder :D. Thank you also for the insight into your process.
