StacyOgie: Yeah, I am currently re-working her form. I’m thinking I may go with a tougher, thicker model than more of the curvy, softness of a classical form.

Thanks for the comment.

Here’s a small update. I messed with the her form and she now feels like the armor fits her, thats always good!

I haven’t started the legs or arms, so thats my next area to block out.

Alright, here is another WIP of the high-poly mesh. I added a griffen to her right shoulder. I still need to mess with it alittle and add wings, which I’m trying to decide the best way to handle.

I still have her arms to go and then legs, for the armor. Then take the armor in to Zbrush and go crazy!

#16

Alright completely redid her form. She’s a bit more bulky, the head piece is changed a little. The intricate stuff on top of the helmet will be handled with a normal mapped plane. The disk in the back will be the CGSociety logo and will have snakes holding it up. The bloby shape around her will be a snake coiled around her. I’m to trying to bring up mythological iconography with her. The helmet Norse, snakes Greek and Eygptian, the sun disk in the back Egyptian and or medieval christian halos.

Just started Zbrushing!

#17

She’s thick yo.

Little bit thick.

#18

So I’ve added some detail to the armor and tweaked her form even more. I also added the snake that coils around her.

ColdKodiak: Yep she’s a thick lady.

#19

Here’s a little update. Started detailing her form and gave her a face, that’s always good.
I’ll post detail shots soon.
Thanks
comments are always welcome

With the new shape and the muscular arms she looks more like a male to me. You lost the feminine touch.

#21

I agree with the above espically in the face she looks too masculine.

#22

Dylock91 & musk: Thanks for your comments and Yes I agree, so I have gone in and reworked her face alittle.

I think it’s getting there, but I’ll probably go back and work on it some more.
Thanks

#23

Looking really good! can’t wait to see the final model

#24

MarkDiokno: Thanks! Currently re-working the snake and some of the armor. I’ll probably have an update tonight or tomorrow.

#25

So I’ve been re-working some of the armor and I’m a lot more pleased with the outcome.

I still need to go in and re-work the snake.

#26

its coming along really good! I love the armour!

#27

Her armor is coming along nicely

She can be little thin and sexy…the Tempting Serpina:)

#28

MarkDiokno: Thanks again for the kind comments.

VinayKr: Thanks for comments and yeah she is supposed to be a thicker, tougher woman.

So here is an update of the face and armor.

Now looking at my armor detail for the body, I’ll probably go back and re-do the helmet detail. It just is not on the same level as the body armor. For the body aromr added some shoulder padding. The shoulder piece on her right shoulder I’m still trying to refine.

I may take out the snake drapped across her body. But instead, becuase I have the cgtalk logo behind her and the logo has snake/serpent type forms on it, I’ll make the snake forms 3D in the logo. Hopefully that makes sense.

Thanks for the comments

#29

Yo, cheers for keeping her “thick”. Not all women have to look the same. Very nice work. I’m definitely loving the designs on the armor. Keep it up!

#30

firespirit2: Thanks for the encouragement.

Here is a full body, besides the boots

#31

Looks really really good…I think you made the right decision in taking out the snake and putting them on the logo instead…if you kept the snake then a lot of the details on the armour would be hidden…great work man!

It has been a long time since I’ve posted anything, but, yes, I am still in this comp. Here is a recent update of the color. I still have a lot of clean up to do.
This is the low poly.
