Wow, great update! With it you eliminate the weirdness I was feeling about the hole and pratically put that generic look away. He looks very powerful and well constructed now. Good job, fellow.

damn thats kickass…
really nice sculpt hez lookin heavy n badass…
great stuff.
probably one of my best entries…
Thats a great concept and some really good modelling, your anatomy on the model is top-notch. The only thing i would suggest is to slim down his ankles, it seems a little to bulky. The concept pics kind of suggest he’s nimble and the extra weight in the lower leg goes against that.
Keep it up its lookin good.
dude…
awesome update:thumbsup:
i’m going to have to be really nittpicky here, cause there’s very little to complain about…
the stance feels a little stiff, i can see what you’re going for with it, but it’s just slightly off, maybe it’s the angle of legs, if they were bent a little more inwards? or if the torso wasn’t so straight, his shoulders feel hunched so the belly should be a little as well. try standing like that and maybe you’ll see what i mean. but really, i’m reaching for something to crit here.
good update:thumbsup:
Your character is a technical achievement. Wonderful modelling
One thing comes to my mind though, when I look at the concepts. One time you show your character climbing. Is this your characters preferred environment to move in? Because with all that heavy flesh, muscles and bones he looks rather heavy and not like a typical “climber” to me.
jramauri, loukor, samarcbz, stacyogie, dmonk: thanks a lot you guys!
mdr: you’r right, but as i started modeling i figured he had to have more robust legs since he’s gotta carry his armor, gear and himself. thanks!
scudzalmighty: thanks a lot man and you totally right about the stance, i’m nota gonna fix that at this point because i think it’ll be easier to do that in the lowres version
, but again thanks a lot!
martinnielsen: wow thaks a lot man! about the climbing thing the answer is no, that’s not his favorite environment, his favorite place to be is downhill in hi-speed battles with his skis. although he might find himself in some climbing situations, so thats why i prepared him with some gear.
at the moment i’m finishing detailing the skis and the artifact and will be posting them soon, here is a small update with everything else:

Oh, one more thing: Those horns in front of him seem to be a limitation of his movement
Just thought I’d say again how freakin cool your character is! Which is uber fantastically cool.
Martin, I think the horns issue came up before. It doesn’t look like they’re attached to the body so it seems they’d just move freely flowing with his legs. I’m sure dmightyone will explain it better though!
Great design, he looks really mean, but I dont think the horns on his legs is a good idea, it makes it seems hard to walk…maybe you could change it to something more organic:)
wow daniel youve been hard at work on him. is looking great man congrats
the armour looks damn cool. but i have to agree that the horns look a bit weird around the waist, they just dont seem to add anything to the character for me anyways. and looks like theres a few strange brush strokes on his back, dunno if there intentional but
cant wait to see some colour too
Coming out nicely
Just thinking abt the detailing on his shoulder armor…rest all looks gud
